Reception Party

The most interesting fact about Indian weddings is the pre and post wedding rituals, which allows the relatives from far places to gather and enjoy the event. The reception party is a post wedding event, hosted by groom’s family. This event is a grand welcome party to the new member of the family. The reception party is celebrated just after the wedding day, usually celebrated in the evening time. This is the first public appearance of the newly wedded couple. As the event is hosted by the groom’s family, the guests of the party are the relatives, friends, neighbors and colleagues of the groom’s family. The main family members of the bride’s family are also invited in this event.
